When some one asks me again what I don't like about the United States, I think I'm going to point them to these two articles.

"The Press Has Moved on Too Fast" by Mark Fitzgerald
They're both about New Orleans--the first a look back at Katrina and its immediate aftermath through the eyes of the police force--the second notes from a recent visit and frustrations that the status of the reconstruction has fallen off the news radar.
